Capabilities

As the industry continues to advance in technology it's becoming more and more important for companies to enhance their understanding of new tools, apps, and processes. With all the new advancements as well as the new products coming to market, keeping abreast of these is nearly impossible with current workloads.

MKM Innovation Group brings a wide range of training, consulting and Virtual Design and Construction services to the AEC industry to help companies innovate. Supplementing and training current staff or consulting as a team member is a great way to bring our experience and expertise to your company.

BIM consulting

We think the best results using technology and BIM/VDC on the job comes from within your own company. Helping companies to become self-sufficient using and understanding technology is our main goal.

Jason Waddell led efforts to Laser Scan and Model a 350,000 SF historic federal building in support of an ongoing renovation project. The scans were used to coordinate the design and validate historic drawings for the new work into the existing building. Jason’s team delivered a BIM of all as-built Architectural (interior and exterior), Structural, and major MEP systems within the building that has been used for subsequent renovations and O&M activities. Upon the successful completion of this project, Jason’s team was contracted to laser scan and model major areas and systems in an additional 3.7 Million GSF spread across two buildings adjacent to the original project. Jason has proven to be an expert in the VDC field; he was able to successfully execute these projects, and others, by managing the laser scans, models, construction document coordination, and other associated tasks.
